The Tempest

"When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. ... Do not be deceived my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
James 1:13-14, 16-17 (emphasis mine)

I like this passage alot. It can be easy to get so caught up in the world, that we have trouble seeing what is from God and what isn't. But thankfully James makes it quite clear how to tell the difference.
