This blog is interesting and somewhat inspiring. This woman decided that for one year she would spend no money on clothes. She allows herself to sell her clothes on ebay and use that income on new clothes, but she can't spend extra money on clothes. She has to work with what she has.

I actually have thought about doing this...not the part about selling and buying on ebay, but just not buying any more clothes for one year. I don't know if I can bring myself to that kind of commitment. Maybe if someone else did it with me?
