Let's Review...

I've watched a few movies lately...
"Love and Other Disasters"
First of all, the "Breakfast at Tiffany's is my favorite movie and I'm going to act just like Holly Golightly" is a little overdone. The movie is made to be ironic that it is a movie. I know that doesnt make sense, but it will make a little more sense if you ever have or ever will watch the movie. It's not a great movie, but it's a nice one-time watch for a lazy sunday afternoon.

"Burn After Reading"

There are absolutely no morals in the movie at all. It's a dark comedy that is really funny, but with horrible things happening. I loved Brad Pitt in this movie. And even though I really dont like John Malkovich, I dislike him a little less after that movie, because he was fun to watch. What I'm saying is, I like the movie, but I'm a little ashamed of myself for liking it.

"Mama Mia"

I'm not as big of a fan as everyone else I know. I think it's a good movie, but not one of my favorite musicals. And poor Pierce Brosnan. I think he had a stroke with every note he belted out. At one point I thought I saw a blood vessel burst in his head. Someone needs to tell him to sing from his gut.

"Sex and the City"

Ah, I loved it! It was just like the television series. They didnt butcher it or make it corny at all. And the writing and acting was just as good! I could watch that one a few more times. And even though there was still the vulgarity of it, I think they toned it down at least a little for the movie, which was nice. However, I was bummed about one relationship, but I dont want to wreck it for anybody.

" Ariel's Beginning"

I actually liked it. I couldnt tell if the same people did the voices or not, they were at least very similar. The songs werent as good, but there was really no chance for that. But I thought it was pretty well done. No where near as good as The Little Mermaid, but still enjoyable.

I saw Love and Other Disasters too. I had the same feelings. I am sad that you didn't love Mammamia as much as me. Music and dancing seriously is in my blood so any movie with event the least little bit is a hit with me. But I am glad you loved the Sex and the City movie. I loved it too, and am glad it wasn't as raunchy as some of the shows!

That doesn't even look like Brittany Murphy in that movie picture. Talk about photoshop! I haven't seen that one...never even heard of it! I'm glad you liked "Burn After Reading," because now maybe I will watch it. I've been only slightly interested in seeing it. One question though - are there any maiming or other grotesque scenes? Dark comedies usually involve someone losing an appendage. I do want to see "Mama Mia," though. I'll watch for Brosnan's vein, haha! And you know, I have had no desire to see the "Sex and the City" movie, even though both of you guys say it's good. Maybe someday if we're all together.

I just watched the new Pride and Prejudice movie again (I bought it), and I want to reiterate how much I love that movie. That Mr. Darcy from the new one is really starting to grow on me (but Keira Knightly is as annoying as ever).

In Burn After Reading there is definitely killing/death. I know people get shot, but I think that's about it. There is this one scene that possibly shows something pretty gross. But the reason I can't give you a definite answer is because I close my eyes or look away everytime I think something will happen. However, there was one that caught me off guard, but again, that was someone getting shot. Which by no means is a good thing, but if you were to rate it against other methods of murder, thats probably the least grotesque.

Oh, and I really appreciate you guys putting up with that word verification all the time!
