Desert Hot Springs

First, just a quick picture of the Rockies to make Malachi drool...

And on to pictures of warm weather (also intended to make Malachi drool)...

On saturday we hiked around the desert. It was an absolutely perfect weather day for a hike.

And you really can't hike without sitting to rest.

And you really can't hike without taking in the sights.

And you really can't hike without a photo shoot with your best friends.

Then we went to an oasis.

There were tons of huge palm trees and tons of artists to paint them.

And here is an actual oasis. Different than I had imagined. Slightly less blue, slightly more creepy.

Taumi was givin' some trees some lovin'.

And I was giving Pablo the totem pole his own share.

And you can't go to an oasis without a photo shoot with your best friends.
