Let's go to the movies! Let's go see the stars!

I like reviewing movies. What can I say? So I've tried to remember everything I've watching so far in 2009. And away we go!

American Teen - Reality version of The Breakfast Club (which I love). I liked it. It's a bit teeny-bop. But I really liked the main artsy girl. And the movie makes you want it to be fiction so that *spoiler* she would end up with the "jock".

Lion King 1 1/2 - Was there any doubt that it would be dumb?

Here Comes The Littles - Ah, brings me back to my childhood days. Didnt keep my interest quite as well, but I will always love it.

Defiance - Bloody and sad. But I still really liked it. It's a true story so of course as soon as I got home I looked up the history of the brothers on the internet. And they did so much. It's really very impressive. And even though Daniel Craig looks more like a German than a Jew, he does a good job. And those blue eyes... (okay, Malachi, I'll stop talking about Daniel Craig's eyes).

The Express - If you havent noticed, I'm a sucker for true stories. So I really liked this one too. However, I did not know the true story before I watched it, so I was taken by suprise that this doesnt have a happy ending.

Grace is Gone - Um, very depressing. Didnt like it at all. I dont think there was even one point that tried to lighten the mood with a little humor. Strictly and annoyingly, sad.
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day - A mediocre movie. Better than I thought it would be, and finally, NOT a sad movie!

Rachel Getting Married - DE-PRESS-ING. Nothing sad actually happens. It's just the whole basis for the movie is depressing. Ugh. A total downer. I like Anne Hathaway, but I wasnt a fan of the movie. And the movie was really loud too. I felt like I was at a weird loud party with alot of drama queens.

Wall-E - I loved it! Wall-E is so adorable. I mean, who would have thought I could fall in love with a rusty chunk of metal that is friends with a cockroach? But I did!

The Way We Were - I don't know what made me watch this movie. But regardless, I didnt like it. I guess I'm just not a big fan of marriages not working out. I like them to last. And it depresses me when they don't. Call me crazy.
I watched one other movie, but I'm gonna give that one a post all it's own, because I have a couple pictures from the movie. So stay tuned!

miss petigrew lives for a day really only counts because it has great avant garde style ie. clothes, apartments.

I agree with the Rachel getting married movie. I thought the wedding was pretty cute though.

I actually liked The Way We Were, althought I change endings to make them happy. He just reminds me so much of a boy I went to school with. Plus, I like that they put the all american jock with the little weird rights activist.

Wall-e was pricelss.
